Neu-X102-N97
Fanless Edge Embedded PC with Intel N97 Quad Core CPU, up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 2x 2.5 GbE LAN, 6x USB
Thanks to its compact, fanless, and rugged design combined with high efficiency and processing power, the Neu-X102-N97 presents itself as a universal fanless edge embedded computer suitable for a wide range of applications such as IoT gateways, digital signage and information systems, or automation in industrial, private, or commercial environments.
Equipped with the Intel N97 processor launched in spring 2023 from the embedded device segment, the Neu-X102-N97 features a powerful quad-core CPU that achieves a maximum clock speed of 3.60 GHz with a thermal design power of just 12 watts. The storage media of this Smart City IT system includes up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM and an M.2 SSD with SATA or PCIe interface. An additional slot for mini PCIe extension cards, connected to a Nano SIM slot, allows for hardware and I/O customization, such as adding Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth, or LTE WAN capabilities.
Despite its space-saving format, the Neu-X102-N97 offers versatile I/O, including serial COM RS232/422/485, four USB 3.2 ports, and dual 2.5 GbE LAN for redundant or branched network structures. Graphic output is available via dual HDMI for independent or linked displays and touchscreens, with 4K resolution at 3840 x 2160 pixels. If required, the interfaces can be further expanded via internal headers, for example for 8-bit GPIO or additional USB ports. For clear and convenient wiring—especially in small spaces or DIN-rail-mounted control cabinets—all inputs and outputs, except for the COM port, are easily accessible from the front panel.
The Neu-X102-N97 features a robust fanless design that enables maintenance-free continuous operation at temperatures ranging from -5° Celsius to +50° Celsius and tolerates shocks of up to 50G acceleration. By utilizing modern hardware and energy-efficient components, its maximum power consumption remains at just 60 watts, making the edge computing system ideal for 24/7/365 continuous use. Key application areas for the Neu-X102-N97 include IoT applications and telecommunications, process management via headless servers or H2M terminals, and infotainment, including kiosk PCs, point-of-sale (PoS) systems, and customer service terminals.
